Festival Season is not only reserved for summer months, as we experienced in Leavenworth two weekends ago. Complete with a diverse lineup of bands, delicious food, crafty cold weather cocktails, and a leisure games tournament, Timbrrr! Winter Music Festival is a warm experience to look forward to in the lull of late January. We shacked up in the charming Evergreen Inn, which had cute red doors at the entry of every individual A-frame room. The lack of lobby made us feel like we were in an understated and cozy log cabin resort on a ski hill. The best part was, it enabled frequent outfit changes, being only a one block walk from the main indoor music festival venue. Leavenworth, the festive Bavarian style town is full of pleasantries and nice people. They know how to have fun too. We weren’t the only ones rockin’ onesies and sampling all the bar menu had to offer!
